CHI-KA was founded in 2013, with a shop and gallery at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai’s art district. The work begins where Middle Eastern sensibility meets Japanese aesthetics — two traditions of craft, considered together.

Our designs favour the creative process over seasonal trends. Each is made with care and close attention to detail, and built to last beyond a season.

We are a brand interested in cultural links — in fashion, art, and experiences that bring our world a little closer together. With each garment, the conversation continues.

The Collection

CHI-KA makes artisan abayas, kaftans, kimonos and dresses in predominantly premium Japanese fabrics. The designs are understated and intentional — silent luxury, drawn and crafted in our Dubai atelier.

Slow fashion. Every garment is made to order, which keeps waste low and honours the work of the hand.

Natural, premium fabrics. Pure silks, breathable linens, fine Jacquards, premium Japanese and Italian blends, with buttons and trims chosen to match.

Made to Measure

For a precise fit, and a piece made only for you, our garments can be cut to your own measurements in the atelier.

• Size adjustments — 1 to 5 business days.
• Custom orders — 7 to 10 business days. Each piece is tailored to your measurements in our atelier.
• Consultations — speak with our team about fabric, fit, and the smaller custom details.
• Made only when ordered. Nothing is cut before it is bought — no surplus, no waste.

Limited Editions

• Runs of 5 to 6 pieces per design, which makes each one a collectible.
• No factories and no mass production — every piece is made by hand in our Dubai atelier.
• Once sold out, a style is not restocked. When it appears, it is the only chance to own it.
